Funded by the EU and implemented by UNIDO, UNEP, and MedWaves, the project ran in two phases: 2013-2018 and 2019-2024. Phase II focused on promoting sustainable consumption and production (SCP) practices, supporting green and circular economy initiatives, and building capacity in the private and public sectors. With an initial budget of EUR 16,430,000, Phase II underwent several expansions, reaching EUR 22,012,000 due to addendums addressing blue economy activities and implementation delays caused by COVID-19. The project concluded on June 30, 2024.</p>
<p>I was part of the evaluation team. My role involved assisting the lead evaluator in various capacities, including conducting a thorough desk review and research, organizing interviews, and analyzing data. <div><p>The Pakistan Agriculture Development (PAD) Project, funded by the USDA Food for Progress, aimed to promote growth, and reduce post-harvest losses in four key horticultural value chains in Pakistan, focusing on red chilies, tomatoes, dates, and bananas. Led by Winrock International, the project sought to enhance income generation and sustainable trade for local farmers and agro-enterprises, emphasizing capacity building, adoption of efficient agricultural practices, and strengthening market linkages to benefit both farmers and agribusiness entrepreneurs, thereby impacting over 2.5 million rural residents.</p>
<p>In my capacity as Project Coordinator and Report Writer, I played a pivotal role in designing the evaluation framework, sampling methods, work and field planning, and the inception report. I also oversaw the Beneficiary Based Validation Survey (BBVS) of approximately 1,000 beneficiaries. Additionally, I coordinated with agricultural experts, field teams, and the PAD project team. Furthermore, my responsibilities extended to conducting desk reviews, ensuring quality assurance during field training and data collection, and contributing to quantitative data analysis. The project emphasized the adoption of energy-efficient lighting technologies and practices to contribute significantly to global climate mitigation and environmental benefits.</p>
<p>I was part of the evaluation team. My role involved assisting the lead evaluator in various capacities, including conducting a thorough desk review, organizing interviews, and analyzing data. <p>In my capacity as Project Coordinator/Report Writer, I managed collaborations among the project team, national consultant, and the evaluation team. My responsibilities included contributions to the development and refinement of the project related reports and presentations including inception report, preliminary finding presentation, evaluation report and final findings presentation, particularly focusing on incorporating and addressing client feedback. The geographic scope of the evaluation was regional, while focusing on the five project countries specifically, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Tunisia, and Libya.</span></p>
<p><span lang="en-PK">As a Project Coordinator/Report Writer, I was responsible for coordination among the programme team, national consultants in the programme countries and evaluation team. The project is expected to contribute to the National Action Plan for Marine Plastic Debris Management in Viet Nam by 2030.</span></p>
<p><span lang="en-PK">I was part of the evaluation team that undertook the Mid Term Review of the project, with the role of liaising among the project team, national consultant and the evaluation team. I also contributed significantly to data analysis and the development of project related reports and presentations including pre inception presentation, inception report, debriefing presentation and the Mid-Term Review (MTR) report. This involved establishing and maintaining effective communication channels, coordinating meetings and consultations, and ensuring that all parties were working collaboratively towards the common goal of reducing marine plastic pollution. Additionally, my contributions to the project were in the development of project related reports and presentation including inception report, debriefing presentation, evaluation report and final findings presentation. This involved working closely with the evaluation team to analyse data, review project documents and reports, and provide input and feedback on key findings and recommendations.</span></p>

This involved organizing and scheduling data collection activities, providing training and guidance to the data collectors, and ensuring the efficient and effective conduct of data collection. Additionally, I maintained close liaison with both the ITC team and the data collection team to ensure the achievement of project objectives and to address any challenges or issues encountered during the data collection process.</p>

<div><p>UNDP Pakistan intended to conduct the “youth evaluation” of the youth programs implemented in collaboration with different public and private partners and with the government of Pakistan in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Bal<span lang="EN-US">o</span>chistan, and Sindh provinces during the year 2018 & 2019.</p>
<p>My role was critical in conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and In-depth Interviews (IDIs) with project beneficiaries. I was responsible for organizing and scheduling these activities.
